Well, It's the time of year when I rotate my horses. My lesson horses, who've worked hard since September have been put out to pasture. The summer camp horses are being brought back to the stables, will be refreshed and tuned up before we commence the winter riding program. (I may use seasons in the future, I installed it but it makes my game lag so much it's unbearable, but I'll probably do some tweaking and try again later on.) Here's the first pony I brought back. This is CR Forks Eye AKA Fair. She's a grade pony and did fantastic at the summer camp. However, she's been off work for 3 months so she wasn't too keen on getting back in the swing of things. Here mane had grown out, so I decided to pull it a bit. Here's the shortened version. I don't like clipping my ponies right down. Brought her to the round pen and did some desensitizing to make sure she wasn't skiddish. I applied pressure to her back, and she was just annoyed by that. Yeah, I know, this pony makes my butt look big. I wasn't going to risk putting one of the kids on her first. Luckily she was pretty well behaved. I decided to bring her into the indoor now. She started kicking her heels up a bit here. ] Canter! Little jump! I might get one of my advanced kids to start her over cross rails. She's an awesome pony!

This morning we were pretty busy. My first student ever named Tyra came over. She's been away at University, but is home now and learned a lot on her school's riding team. She's dedicated to English riding, so she's going to be my English riding instructor at the barn. She'll teach my students who want to learn to jump and do Dressage. I can do all that, however I much prefer Western. Raina arrived at the same time. She's one of my advanced junior students and will be leasing Fair the pony! Amy was out bright and early warming up Ovario. Tyra will be leasing and competing with him. Amy wanted to make sure he was focused and listening before Tyra tried him out. A bit of a trail ride in the hills behind the barn. Ovario was calm and cool throughout the whole ride. Raina waisted no time getting Fair brushed and tacked up. They get along very well. Raina is starting Fair over jumps for me. She's quite a fearless little pony and is listening well to her rider. They finished off by going for a run on the trail. Raina should be coming over everyday after school. So, I'm very happy to see Fair being used and enjoyed instead of a pasture ornament. I think I might have another leaser for NSS ShibeMine the New Forest Pony. Meghan is also an advanced junior and friends with Raina so they'll be able to ride together. Amy is still loving SCS Mr Darcy. He's really helping her advance in the Western Disciplines. Liam is still taking his Jumping lessons on his Arab Rubix. Tyra is teaching him now, and the pair are still encountering some problems. However, after Tyra gave him some pointers, started him over lower fences and built up his confidence they finally jumped beautifully. Liam was shocked he actually jumped an obsticle that high! Tyra took Ovario over his highest jump yet! Then we went on a trail ride!

Rubix is "special". We actually had to get him gelded, in hopes of calming him down. At least now he's easier to handle, but he sure has a mind of his own. He loves making Liam look like a fool lol

I am happy that they will meet again to be honest I love color and conformation of your appy mare Abbey. If she will ever have colt together with NSS Salt And Peper, can I take him? ;D I will need a boy for my Nidawi the Nez Perce mare +he can be new performance stallion since Darcy is ending (not sure about that, but, well, yeah)

Yeah sure, I can do that for you. Are you leaning towards it looking more like Salt or Abbey?

Haha, not a problem. Give me a few days, but it might be done before depending on how much free time I get today.
