Begins- July 8 Ends- July 30 Rules-Breeds allowed : Appaloosa : Quarter Horse : Pinto/Paint -must send 3 pictures of your horse performing : 3 halter pictures of your choice-these pictures will be graded on creativity and the horse's likeness of it's breed -area of your choice AttireHorses should be shown in a Leather Halter or Bridle with Flash in sport horse style with short cropped or braided mane, tails may be loose or braided. Handler may be in the photograph but is not required to be, if present they must not obstruct the view of the horse. Handler should be dressed neatly but casually. Hunt Seat Attire is also acceptable. Horses in this class should be shown in open stance with legs slightly apart so that all 4 legs may be viewed from the side. Head and neck should be in a natural position though may be shown raised or lowered subtly to flatter the conformation of the horse. Is all editing not allowed in class one? Can we draw on reins and brighten the pictures?

If this is western halter class you have attire and tack incorrect! The attire would be the same as any western event! And the halter would be the basic, since we do not have the normal show halter for this kind of event. I used to halter show with my fat lazy QH gelding, and he always won because he would make himself look fatter lol.

People can show their english horses as well. It's all fun for the community

Yes, but I can cross a QH with a Paint. The conformation is rather similar and it would make a good horse for my ranch. It's only for once. I usually don't cross breeds but, after all, why not? I've already made a appy/mustang cross and it's really nice (even if it's hard to sell then).
