For the Teke foal crop...I'll have to ask Stephanie (MSE's staff in charge of breeding). She was the one to come up with the idea and really wanted to do it. I'm also using some of her mares since, again, I mostly have stallions and I'm not ready to breed my new ones. As far as Shakhid, this is Shakhid (the irl stud page - noted Russian racehorse). More pics of irl Shakhid (yes, even the one in the middle; shows how much coats can vary depending on the environmental conditions): @lance, the one you showed is also a dark buckskin, but buckskin is actually a very common color for Tekes. As well as the appearance of dapples. When I saw so many dappled buckskins, bays, and palominos on one stud page I thought they were related too, but it wasn't the case. Tekes just come in such a variety of colors. Blue eyes are also common, even in non-dilutes. But I don't dare make a Teke with blue eyes unless it's a dilute or splash for fear that the genetic nuts will yell at me for it. This is Agakhan, another dark dapple buckskin stallion who my mare Count Your Last Blessings is based on And...agh, they must have sold him! The same site as Agakhan used to have a pure black colt with only a white stripe, but had blue eyes...but he's not on there anymore....he was my inspiration for my mare Broken Promises, but I made her a splash so everyone who thinks they are the expert in horse genetics wouldn't get all mad by having a black horse with blue eyes.

Just about...some ugly patches that you can't see in dark colored manes, but really obvious in light colored ones. Now that my entry is done for that show, I'll try to get the mane and a few other things up tonight or tomorrow.

Those dapples are really interesting! I saw many unique colored marwaris and tekes, but this is really special one. I love dappled bucksin and sooty bucksin ;D they look great. And Teke's metallic shine... /love it. Wickham is not so shiny, but I still like him

But he also has about 6 custom markings I made just for his coat. I couldn't make it with the markings we had in game or CC; it was the case of "If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself." i forgot you have the swallowtail saddlepad 'shoots himself...' Well...that's the last saddle pad you find on my site. Malory does a much better job. She also just plain enjoys it more than me. 2D content making is not my thing. My mind works better in 3D.

He is really amazing horse! 50 Layers... I know this, have the same problem with Boo (SCS Midnight Specter, the black frame overo stallion). I used as many layers as I can and it wasn't enough I think... his right side is not so good as his left ;D

Because that is my dream bridle for my pony ! *Hides face and cries in the corner* It's awful and terrible! There are so many things wrong with that bridle! I've already re-did it once...but then Cmar updated her mesh tools...why will I never be satisfied with it? Why must I be such an artist and hate my own work?? I used to do the same thing with my drawings...posted them on my old site, but not the new one...they're just not that good...also haven't finished a drawing in a year...also probably because I'm not in college anymore (I'm vulnerable to supreme boredom so I always drew between class or in class...that last one depended on how interesting the class was and whether the professor cared) and feel like a flop since I don't have anything new finished...

LOL every bridley from you is great, really! We all love your bridles. And I feel with you, I am artist too, but I am not drawning. I am writing.
It is hell, cos you have "tsunami" of muse so you write whole week without pause for outdoor walk. To be honest I almost don't eat in times like this ("NO! I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR LUNCH, LOVE!!!).
But then... the real horror is when you lost your muse. Half year pass and you don't write single word. Terrible. ;D
