Cheerful Fairy Farms Genevieve Starling's Lustiano Diary Dear Diary, I begged and begged the owner here at CFF to let us adopt a Lustiano Filly from Rose Garden Stables. After many weeks of deliberation and bringing her plates of cookies every morning she finally said "Yes!". I screamed and jumped up and down and immediately drove to RGS and told them the news. I filled out their paper work and told them that she would be MY English show mare that would represent CFF. A few days later I loaded her up in my trailer and drove her my house where my boyfriend and I live a few acres away from the main barn at CFF. We don't have a name for her yet but we are going to have one soon! After getting her out of the trailer and safely on the ground I wanted to check her over to make sure she didn't injure herself on the ride over before turning her out in the pasture. After turning her out in the pasture she exhibited her future abilities as a hopeful dressage champion as she floated around the pasture in excitement. After letting her explore her new pasture for a few hours I lead her over to a place she would spend most of her days training and showing; the dressage arena. She keeps impressing me and I couldn't be more excited to train her in the years to come. After a long day of excitement and photos I lead our new little filly into the barn for the night. I came back into the house and walked to the bedroom where Thomas was ready to hear about my day. Goodnight Diary. Genevieve

Cheerful Fairy Farms Genevieve Starling Dear Diary, I could hardly sleep last night knowing that I had beautiful girl in the barn all by herself. I work up every two hour to check on her and give her a bottle of formula. She seems to be growing every minute and I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before I'm in the round pen warming her up everyday. After getting ready for the day I wanted to see how this little girl would act in a halter class scenario. I put on her halter and attached the lead rope. She posed like she had done this 100 times before! I can't wait to get her in an actual show! Once I began to walk and I noticed that the wind was light which made the lead flutter she did hesitate but then decided it was probably better to follow me. I wanted to see if I could get up up to a collected trot and managed to do so with little effort. She is a very brave little girl. After the end of our workout I decided on a name for her, Emperatriz de la Máxima. I knew that Thomas had been in and out of the house today but when I walked into the house I saw him on bended knee. He caught me completely off guard! I can't believe that we are now engaged. Good Night Diary, Genevieve
