I wanted to introduce myself and my stable, after finally getting my game to work.
Anyway, the stable is co-owned by sisters Tiffany & Chelsey Kildaire, and will focus on training and competing Belgium Warmbloods, Arabians & Oldenburgs.
Here is a snapshot of the outside stables, covered in frost when the girls got up at 6am do do the morning feed
The Oldenburgs
KMA The Last Chance
'Max' is a striking dark bay 4 year old stallion, foundation with lots of scope that will hopefully be put to good use in the show jumping arena.
KMA Irish Pride
'Nico' is an 8 year old stallion with a rare color pattern coat and a big personality. Strong minded and greedy, this horse really tests his riders' patience and skills
KMA Inspired Moment
Clara is a gorgeous grey mare with a quiet, agreeable personality. She is owned by 23-year old Chelsey Kildaire, co-owner of the farm. Now semi-retired, Clara is ridden quietly around the farm and will be put in foal after Christmas.
Being ridden by owner Chelsey, alongside Tiffany & The Last Chance
The Arabians
SCS Zaira
Chestnut sabino mare imported from Smart Color Stables. With such fantastic bloodlines, we expect great things from this 2 year old filly when she's older.
KMA Standing Hope
Foundation liver chestnut Arabian mare, we don't know a big amount of her background other than she's roughly 10 years old and has never been broken to ride. She was bought for breeding, and we are currently looking for a foundation stud to breed her to.
Playing in the rain
KMA Fallen Soldier
'Gerak' is an elegant, well mannered stallion with buckets of promise and experience in the dressage arena. He's owned by our new competition rider, 18 year old Holly Foster, and we can't wait to see them in the competition ring representing Keltic Mist Acres
The Belgium Warmbloods
KMA Folly Flinders
The most promising mare at our stables, Folly is our absolutely favourite {mainly because she's my real life horse!} Abused by her previous owner, Folly was bought as a 2 year old, scared and neglected. Owned by 21-year old Tiffany Kildaire, she has slowly learned to trust people and is now in gentle training over the winter season, ready for spring shows next year.
KMA Secret Promise
Another foundation mare, this solid bay mare is Folly's best friend, and is currently in foal to our beloved stud, Cobalt. We can't wait for the foal
A late night run in the arena with Folly
KMA The Black Devil
17 hands tall, this sturdy stallion certainly made a lasting impression on Tiffany. She was assigned to ride this experienced, schoolmaster stallion at an elite boarding school in Germany, which she attended for many years. Halfway through her education, 'Cobalt' had to be retired due to arthritis and was sent home to his elderly owner. Tiffany was assigned to ride another horse, but she never forgot Cobalt and tracked him down towards the end of her school years. Despite having lost his fitness and condition, Cobalt was still the same well mannered horse, and Tiffany was thrilled when his owner asked if she wanted him on loan. He now stands at stud at Keltic Mist Acres, and is ridden every so often.
KMA Jewel of Firestone
Polly is a fiery chestnut mare, 2 years old with big, solid bones and sturdy conformation that will be best suited to the dressage arena.
That's it for now, hope you like our horses!
