Nice pics Amanda! Love the little kathiawari filly, plus you gave me a precious information about the difference between a marwari and a kathiawari.
Your holsteiner is awesome too! Maybe you could simply call him MSE Rio Grande as show name. Just a suggestion.
Do you plan to make a marwari foal crop soon? I'm looking for a 2nd generation (at least) marwari filly (to become a performance mare).
(I applied for a breeding at Eyelet's stable, between Pearl and Sweetheart, but I think she's really very busy cause she seems quite absent from the community at the moment.)

Thanks everyone! I probably won't give him a show name with "Rio" in it since it is a common name and Echo's horse already has Rio in his show name...it'll probably be from Norse mythology or something. I have a terrible couple of days at the lab coming up so sorry if I sound coarse via email or don't respond quickly. Anyway, with lots of people on the Equus forum posting irl pictures lately, I thought I'd join in...and share them with this forum as well because if you are going to post pictures of cats on the internet, you must post them everywhere possible ;D Here are my cats! Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday for reasons I'm not even sure why. I appreciate it more like the pagans used to as a time for transition and stuff...I mean I don't go out or party or anything like that (I'm not a huge fan of people)...I don't know, I just like it. For a time people would give me gifts on Halloween...then it started getting creepy after a while...like why should I get gifts on Halloween? Weird. Admittedly weird. Okay, my birthday is four days after Halloween, so maybe not that weird. And they were never big gifts....anyway, yeah, I'm kind of strange =^-^= So cats and Halloween! My dad once told me his greatest fear for me is that I'll be a cat hoarder when I'm old. Yeah...I'm that kind of crazy. But I only have two cats currently, Naboo and Sheva. Both originally named after video game characters. Naboo was originally Neku from The World Ends with You, but my sister refused to call him that ( older sister, mind you) and started calling him Boo. I didn't like that so we compromised and called him Naboo, a name I go from a character off The Mighty Boosh, not Star Wars which I was not aware of until I posted a picture of him with his name on my site a few months back. And Sheva is from Resident Evil 5 which, yes is a girl's name and my cat is a boy, but I can never tell the sex of a kitten and I thought it was a name that could go either way. This is Naboo, he is a Russian Blue (yes, he has the mauve paw pads). ^Hiding from embarrassment. ^This is him hating me for continually putting Halloween stuff on him...and that Happy Ghost throw is actually not a recent purchased; I've had that for some time. Why is a Happy Ghost throw? Because all the ghosts on it are smiling ;D And Sheva, my American Shorthair (or whatever...my parents' neighbor found two kittens under his house and his grandson kept one and I kept the other). ^This cat is never still...and me editing a breeding request in the background. Why is there a cat perch next to all those cords? Because Naboo will claw my leg without it...because he gets tired of me ignoring him when I'm on the computer and he feels better if he can sit by me...at approximately the same height as me. They have a bigger cat condo on the other wall...next to my bed...they have more space in the room than I do >_< ^Sheva and his alien eyes.

They're both so cute! I should post some pics of my own female cat, Winnie, but I don't have much of them. She's currently the baby of the house... until my son shows up. ^^

I have more pictures of my cats than I do people They only recently were able to move to where I live (in March). Before I could only visit them on holidays because they lived at my parents house...in another state But now they are with me! I'd love to see your cat. I'm a cat person all the way. I can appreciate large dog breeds and wouldn't mind having one (we always had a large dog breed growing up), but my roommate has a Shih-Tzu...just find it hard to appreciate/not be annoyed by small dogs. Anyway, that's just me. Though I feel scientists are more likely to be cat people than dog people. At least twice a week a small group of us will strike up a conversation about our cats at my lab. One of the other researchers told us if we had a reality TV show it would be "Real Life Cat Stories." =^-^=

I LOVE cats too. I have two, got the both at the SPCA and already fixed to boot! I have a grey shorthair and a tabby. If I lived alone, I'd have more.

I'm not showing this horse to the Equus forum at the moment, because I'm planning to show him off via a story...but I can't not show him off since I spent about 3.5 hrs making him. Those of you on both forums get a sneak peak at him. Also, to note, Gem had made a 100 Layer Mod that increases the layers in CAP to 100 instead of 50. I ran out of layers making this horse. He literally has 100 layers to his coat. I signed up for Eva's Team championship show on Equus despite myself and since I have retired Ghost and Black*Star, my usual competition horses (because I didn't think I'd show again), I needed another competition Teke. Well then, meet Equus's new competition: He is based on this irl Akhal-Teke stallion: Couldn't get the veiny dapples just right since we don't have good markings for it...but I tried.
